guiness and the perfect beer

im going to come right out and say it. i cant drink like i used to and im only 22. its ****ing rediculous. i'll admit i've lost my vigor mainly because i've stopped drinking so much, but i have to bring up one point.

I swear i could drink guiness all night, by the keg, and never get sick. Im not a HUGE guiness fan but i've noticed lately that i just dont get as drunk or feel the effects of guiness as much as any other beer. I've been drinking it all day while mowing the lawn (probobly 5 cans, pluss an amber bach) and i really dont feel buzzed at all... but i do. its strange. and when i try to investigate the alcohol content in a can of guiness they fail to mention it on any of their packaging.

all and all im gong to come out and say i love guiness, even thought it is pseudo beer as far as im concerned.

you gotta understand where im comming from. there was a time when i bartended proffesionally and basically drank my liver to exaustion for a year... as far as what i could drink THEN and what i can drink NOW i could still put most people in my weight class to shame.

as far as amber bach.
im not a fan of it. i just drank it cause it was there. as far as dark beer goes its mid tier. michelob, sam adams, and whatnot make some of the worst "best" beer in my opinion.

you want to try a good beer go get some seiera nevada pale ale. you'll be thankin me.

Stouts are typically low in alcohol content unless its an imperial stout. High in body, thick malty beer, but not high in alcohol content.

I love both of those. I am a huge IPA fan. My staple is Harpoon IPA for everyday drinking... but when the dofish heads are available I get those.
