Got my Dive Card today...

Did my qual dive in a quarry. But no matter-I R A qualimufied SCUBA diver now!! I can go anywhere and dive. I highly recommend the PADI certification as they teach you everything you need to live underwater. Lotta fun! The best moment was coming face to face with a 3 lb bass over a sunken fire truck. Here is the dive qual location. www.dutchsprings.com

Pretty cool, I use to be SCBA certified. It wasnt a good thing though. For rescue reasons in places people don't want to go.

Congrats, I got my certification last spring in a lake. It's definitely not as fun as tropical diving. Now where are you gonna go dive?

My dive buddy and I are going to the Florida Keys last week of September then on to the Great Barrier reef in November.

I have alwasy wanted to dive Truk Lagoon and see the wrecks there! I am putting off that dream hobby so that I can save up for an ultralight! Flying has always been my dream.

Believe it or not-it's really not hard. You don't even have to know how to swim. My biggest obstacle was taking my mask off underwater-putting it back on and clearing it. For some reason I always try to breathe through my nose. Not good underwater.

Oh sweet, I'm jealous of you. I've always wanted to dive the Great Barrier Reef...lots of sharks there. Just watch out for the currents, I heard they sweep people out to sea. The Keys are gorgeous too, nice choices

Oh yeah, and as far as the mask thing goes, that bugged me too. I did my cert dive in freezing water and as soon as I took off my mask I just froze up since the water shocked me. I didn't die though so it's all good, I guess it becomes natural after a while.
