smart phones?

I will be in the market for a new Cell Phone in December (Verizon's New every Two program) and was interested in one of the smart phones. the only two I know about are the Blackberry variations and the Motorola Q.

does anyone here have Verizon? If you do and you have a smart phone, which one do you have and what do you like/dislike about it...

I have a Moto Q and it sucks.

The battery life is pathetic. If I use the phone at all for calls and/or email and/or surfing the web, I'll have to recharge the phone daily. And I have the extended life battery. The battery that came with the phone will not last a full 24 hours.

The phone will hang every couple of days. I have been able to use the phone as a phone, with both incoming and outgoing calls, then the phone will just hang. Incoming calls will go to voicemail, but there is no indication that a call was missed. When this happens, the phone needs to be rebooted.

The bluetooth component is not very robust. Yes, I use a bluetooth headset for phone calls. During the day, the phone will drop the connection with the headset, frequently. This is really annoying, especially when a call comes in and the phone won't sync with the headset. Sometimes, the bluetooth component just dies completely, requiring a reboot of the phone.

I have a year remaining on my contract. When it's time for a new phone, I won't be getting another Q.

thanks for the info...

I have trouble with my current phone (EnV) with dropped calls and bluetooth issues and thats why I am looking to upgrade. I need to see how much longer I have on my plan contract before I decide if I want to stay with verizon or not but thanks for the info about the Q. Makes me not want to get one...

I will however be looking into the Blackberry's because everyone I know that has one loves it.
