I have a Lowrance 500 IWAY. I like the larger screen and free updates/maps. You might want to look at those-it can get expensive buying updates.

I have a Tom Tom that I bought from a guy on the Vette forum and it works like a champ.

After all that I've read now if I was going to go out and buy one...the Garmin Nuvi 330-350's seem to be well thought of.

The Nuvi's are sweet. Garmin is an industry leader in GPS navigation. You cant go wrong with Garmin. I use turn by turn navigation with my OnStar.

my parents have tom tom and drive from Florida to Michigan twice a year. They like it. I have been with them a few times and it was ok... although once the damn thing was taking us to the wrong place for the address.
