2007-08 NFL Thread

so new england is probably the best team in the NFL right now, im sorry colts fans but you have no chance in returning to a superbowl for the next few years.

RANDY MOSS and TOM BRADY

just look at the patriots receiving corps...

Randy moss
Dante Stallworth
Kelly washington
Wes Welker
Reche Caldwell
Jabar Gaffney
Chad Jackson
Troy Brown

HOLY HELL, they are stacked...plus there 3 awesome tight ends (Watson Brady and Thomas) and Lawrence Maroney!

Defense is even better now with A. Thomas at LB and the 2 Players they picked up in the draft.

Ouch, I feel sorry for you. You got "The Future" and Dante Stonehands. Dante wasn't so bad, Kelley Washington was just a plain tool when he was here at UT.

well we can all agree that the patriots have a better wide reciever corp than last year, and that they are light years ahead of the Tenesee titans

I have never been a Tennessee Titans fan, I consider that an insult. I also hate anything to do with the color orange even though I am alumni from UT.

I am a Saints fan since birth. New Orleans born and bred. We suck, I still think we got extremely lucky last year and no one will ever convince me the Saints have skill. Well, maybe if they ever win a super bowl, but that won't happen in my lifetime.

Gotta disagree with you. Patsies won their championships with team chemistry, not raw talent. They have brought in so many new guys, that that chemistry is gone. Also, bringing in Moss is like intentionally giving yourself skin cancer. Not a good idea. Hell, they added more free agents than the Redskins this year, and we know how well that is working for them.

the amount of veterans like seymour, brady, bruschi, harrison, vrable...wont allow these players to get out of hand. I really believe that moss will change his way cause he is on a AWESOME team now..not Oakland or the Vikings....

and the players which the patriots got are high charecter players...

Wes Welker
Adalious Thomas
Tory James
Donte Stallworth

all did awesome last year.

Tom Brady has never had this type of recievers before...this is going to open up the offense so much more than before

Plus, who has the patriots let go of? Corey Dillion...thats basically it this year. They still have their core players that have been there for along time and control the locker rooms. When all the analysts say that the patriots are superbowl favorites and 56% of the country agrees....then a few people who are haters obv wont want to agree because they dont want to realize that their teams have no chance in hell in winning this upcoming season.

I hope manning works real hard "so he can kick our butt again"....maybe when he plays madden

Thats the funniest thing I've ever heard in my life. Moss will change his ways like a crack addict give up the smack. You obviously don't know Moss very well.

Yeah it says he's not worth that kinda money any more. Did you forget this guy doesn't run routes...he doesn't show up for games. Etc etc etc...it happened in Minnesota, it happened in Oakland...and it WILL happen in New England.
