Shut down by Sony

Well today my internet stopped working.
Called up ISP and they said that they received a call/notification from Sony saying I was DLing copyrighted stuff (which i was) . They said its the first warning and they'll reconnect the account.
They werent singling me out or anything, tech support lady says she had been dealing with similar situations all day. In fact, the tech support lady was pretty nice about it.
But damn... I'm just glad I'm not getting sued...

They even knew what I was downloading (Spiderman 3)

So yeah guess I'm turning off bittorrent for a LONG while
So to all you people downloading movies and sh*t...THE MAN IS WATCHING YOU....

you really have to watch p2p n torrents. They can bait you on those n catch you. Let someone else do the pirating and you download it from %*%*%* at no risk to you

my ISP is insightBB, dunno if u guys have heard of em?

i should prolly stick to IRC... but I think I'm gonna lay low on the illegal sh*t for a while anyways. over the last week i DLed around 15GB of stuff, mostly movies

if anything I need to figure out some way of proxying so my IP can't be tracked... I don't know enough about how that works

proxies are nice but not full proof. ppl that know wtf they are doin can track you regardless just takes longer

I have used irc b4 but like trip said its slow and I have hit a 25GB cap per week many a tyme where I get stuff

Mine quit working yesterday. Hmm maybe I should call my ISP to see what is up. I have never downloaded anything copyrighted until Saturday. (I watched Halloween 2007)
