Air Racing

Just wondering if anyone here is watching the Red Bull World Series? Those guys have some balls of steel. 350+MPH, pulling 10gs on turns, going from 100-700 ft alt in less than 3 seconds then flying straight down again. Would love to go to a race one day.

Air racing has always been bada**. Does red bull just go one plane time race or is it a true race with several. I always like the true racing with several planes.

They race one at a time but the way they film it they overlay the two flights afterwards and you can watch them side by side.

That crap is insane. The reason they don't race multiple planes at once is because it's a course that requires going through points not much bigger than a plane. It'd get tricky if you had bunch of planes.

Plus the ones that race side by side basically do circle track racing.

Those guys must have their balls hauled in 2 seperate tractor trailers.

I know, I checked out the site

I have seen multiple air races which usually have a group of 4-5 planes that race around towers, not always just a circle track. That's what I am use to. Those guys are insane.

I have watched a couple of these races. Really Really cool! Makes the Nevada air races look I mean the Nevada air races are NASCAR and the Red Bull is definitely MotoGP! These guys have skills!

How bout this for excitement...
10 min before the start of the race, they tell everyone they are running it BACKWARDS this time, so all RIGHT turns
It'd be great!

Yea, alright. To bad the technology, researching, and testing involved with modern day stock car racing far surpasses the so called amazing technology the MotoGP racers use. Just turning left?, how would you get out of the pits then?? And since all you have to do is turn left lets put you guys out there see what kind of lap times you run?
