Any Big green egg users?

Tuesday my big green egg will be delivered Also will be adding computer control to my green egg www.rocksbarbque.com.
Next weekend will be cooking up brisket or pulled pork

My uncle has one of those... those things are friggin awesome.

Once you get it up to temp, you can cook a steak in about 3 minutes.

Invest in high quality charcoal of varying types... the japanese smokers will really pull the flavor out of the briquets and into the food. Don't you dare use any of that mainstream junk like kingsford or whatever.

I've seen them on The Price Is Right... Looked pretty cool... Now that I know they heat up to 750 or whatever... Badass.

Yeah... they are awesome... careful with the heat though. Once you get them up to temp, when you open the lid, do it very slowly. If you open it fast, you will get a flashfire type thing that will jump out and burn your face. I'm not kidding.

I just need to pull the trigger and get one of those. The only bad thing is-You really can't find a better deal on-line. Shipping is a killer.

So well insulated with ceramic, you can cook for 18 hours without adding any more charcoal.
