Photo-heads. Question.

I'm in the market for a high quality DSLR camera. I want to get one for my wife as a birthday/valentines day gift. Could you hook me up with some links or something? Around or less than $1,000. I'm thinking Cannon, Nokia or Sony. TIA.

I'll find out what my friends father in law has. It takes insane pictures plus he is really good and knows his sh** Stores won't let him print them out because they think their professional photos.

My wife and I just bought our 2nd DSLR. The Digital Rebel xti. 10mp's. Got it with two lenses and a ton goodies for under a grand.

I just got one for around that price range with a 18-55mm lens and a 55-200mm lens for my fiance. It's a Nikon D40x. Nokia is a phone company. It looked a little sturdier than the Rebels. High end, I would definitely go Canon, the canon 30D is extremely nice.

Make sure to buy her the magic lantern guide for the camera as well or get her in a class.
