Good day Larry -

As a college educated man, I must say, your command of the English language is impeccable! Yes, I will "be accepting a check". This bike is very, very rare and the last offer I had was for $15,000. Please send your check for $15,000 in the most fastidious manner:

Valentino Rossi
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

or call me at:
(202) 278-2000

(if you don't recognize the address, it's the White House. The phone number rings to the Washington office of the FBI....I assume you all know who Rossi is)

I get crap email from Nigeria all the time. Do people really fall for that crap? Seriously, If you get scammed out of your money because of this, then you deserve it.

You should reverse the scam on them... I've read where people have done that... come back with something about how you can only accept a check if a 10% of the purchase price is transfered via Western Union as a deposit.

People really do fall for that **** all the time. I watched a program on it that had all these idiot people from all over the US talking about how they lost everything or how they are in 100k of credit card debt from stupid scams like that. I agree, if you are dumb enough to fall for it you deserve it.

I like the scams. It's like the lottery. It takes money out of the hands of stupid people. I say Kudos to these people.

As for the White House address. I had a guy threaten to come to Atlanta and beat me up over the internet. I decided to play along and told him "I wasn't a little wussy and that he can meet me at...". I gave him the address to our Governers mansion here in Georgia. I figured he wouldn't come but if he did that would have been funny.

I've given people my personal information, both online and as a telemarketer... I hope someone shows up some day... They never do.

My Senior year of highschool I did Telemarketing. Or more like Teleadvertising.

I was suppose to answer like...
Hello. This is Mark with Top Turf lawncare. We'd like to offer you a free estimate on fertilization and weed control. Are you interested" and then they'd say yes or no. If yes we'd hit a button that would send all their info to a computer and send one of our guys out on it to do an estimate.

But being 18 and bored I'd screw with people. I'd do a Snoop Dogg impression..
"Hizzle. This is the Mizzle with Top Tizzle Lawn Kizzle". We do it when we knew the computer was calling ghetto areas. People would get excited thinking it really was snoop dog.

And one time our computer called a guy I knew. Which this guy in the first 2 minutes you meet him you will understand that he served in Vietnam and that he has Arthritus(Picture Walter or John Goodman from "The Big Lewboski"). He started to go nuts on me so I eplodes "I'm a GD Vietnam Vet". I remember saying along the lines "We do offer Agent Orange and Mustard Gas options if you'd like." Oh man he went ape****. I saw him the next day and asked him if his Agent Orange guy came in yet. He chased me around for a little bit and then he finally calmed down. God that was funny. The best part was my boss came in and heard the guy over the earphones and asked me what was going on. I told him I knew the guy and was messing with him and he just laughed.

lol the wierdest thing just happened. I was reading this post and a TV commercial came on about the exact same thing. This old guy gets on a bus and sits down beside this woman and starts talking to her in really bad grammar saying how he will give her a vast sum of money and 'transact your transaction' if she just pays him a small processing fee. She ignores him and gets off the bus. Then a voice over says something like 'scams like this rarely work out in real life, thats why they are done on the internet' and refers you to fakecheck.org.

I had a guy on a forum one time claim he was some badass martial arts guy... some other people said they saw him fight two guys at once and beat the crap out of them... He was a douche-nozzle... Long story short, he called me out... I gave him my address as he lived pretty close by... He never showed... and never returned to the forum again... Damnit, I was totally in need of an ass beating at that point in time too!

Larry,

I'm overjoyed and can hardly contain myself! You bet your ass I'll keep the "use bike" in good condition. Did I mention that this bike is equipped with turbo, a supercharger and Nitrous? It's the fastest 675 in the Northern Hemisphere. You're so lucky to be purchasing it for a scant $15,000! Do they have paved roads where you live? If not, you'll need to purchase special motocross tires. I'll be honest, in my opinion, sportbikes always work better with motocross tires anyway. I look forward to receiving your check.

Warm wishes and kind regards,
Valentino Rossi

the title of this thread makes me laugh everytime I see it. Reminds me of that movie "The Gods Must Be Crazy."
