Boy, the weatherman freakin lied

Well Turkey day came and with it came a cold front for the Fall season. Headed out to my parents in east texas Wed. the day the cold front was 'supposed' to arrive according to the weather later in the afternoon. Well woke up and it was already here, so I got all my gear on cause it was raining and the temp was dropping fast. Headed towards Fort Worth just got into city traffic and I guess I passed the cold front cause, it stopped raining and got warmer.

Well it stayed this way for several days, snow and sleet and rain in the western part of Texas and cold a$$ rain in east texas. Well Took off Sunday night it had finally slacked off in rain and thought I would give it a shot, temp was about 43 got gas and got on the highway and boy did that temp drop fast i lost feeling in my fingers and my a$$ was cold. Well got all my insulated gear put on at the next stop and finally made it home a whole 2 hour trip turned into 4 hours for the stops to regain the feeling in my hands, passed a lit temp and time sign at a bank and it said the temp was 34 I sat up from my wind reduced postition and did a double take, sure enough 34 degrees, boy it was freakin cold.

All and all it was a good Thanksgiving weekend, stuffed my face with turkey cakes and pies, and cookies. Dad and I even managed to make a Tator cannon which we dubbed the 'TatorNator" I will get the pictures up later on tonight. Watched football games till I was sick, watched undefeated Kansas Jayhawks get the crap kicked out of them by Mizzou, so now we will see how the Big 12 title goes with OU and Mizzou round two, OU won round one.
