Support the troops during the Hollidays .....

Pretty cool deal by Xerox ......send a post card ( for free )........ I've been there.....the hollidays can be a lonely time for these guys.

i was there for the holidays last year ( and the year before that, lol) and trust me, the smallest gesture from home can mean a huge amount over there.... so even if your thinkin that something so small wont really mean anything... trust me, it does

Just wanted to say thanks for all the support from everyone here on TWF, I too am over here in the great sandbox of the Earth, and again, I would like to back what everyone else is saying, even the smallest gesture means alot. Thanks again to everyone who supports us, to many of us, YOU make the difference!

I have been sending a box of magazines/videos to a squad in the sand about every two weeks. I try to collect as many mags/videos as I can. It doesn't matter how old, someone there hasn't read them. I've been doing it for about 6 months. When the guy I've been sending them to rotates out, they give me another name so I can keep in touch with the squads. My son really likes the cool coins and paper money they send home from different countries in the area. He has gotten members of his class at school to help, so we have kind off adopted a squad
