america's worst drivers?

so this might not pertain to some who have only seen one or two states their whole lives... but to those who have actually travled, what state do u think has the worst drivers?

personally, i'd say its a toss up between nj and florida

I've lived in Oregon, Connecticut, California, and Alaska. Spent a lot of time driving in Idaho, Nevada, Rhode Island, and North Dakota also.

of those... I'd have to say California was the worst due to everybody driving in the damn left lane and being oblivious to what's behind them.

Alaska in the changing months... meaning when the snow is first falling... or it's breaking up... people forget how to drive... they slam on their breaks... take corners too fast... wander in and out of their lanes.. drive 25mph UNDER the posted speed limit... even when the roads are nothing more than wet...

actually North Dakota, Idaho, Washington and Oregon are pretty good...

I'm from Oregon and always thought we were the best drivers but... ehh... there's millions of idiots in every damn state

ohio drivers are too slow, and florida drivers just want to fly everywhere, so its lose lose either way

NY and FL stay neck and neck in this debate!! but all in all NY takes the crown!

and nj might as well just be a part of ny because they have to drive the same just to survive!

Slow down to merge there and you'l be parked there for the rest of the day!

Every single one of them I have driven extensively all over america and my conclusion is americans can't drive. I find american driving so bad that I could tell you were they are the worst. I will list some poarticularly bad demographics I have witnessed.

Young pretty girls in expensive cars
Young males with lots of sitickers on their civimustamarotalobird
the elderly
fat people
people with handicapped plates
ladies on cell phones in massive suvs

These people piss me off so much in my car. Handicapped plates are for parking purposes so they can walk less distance, just to walk the same amount inside of a store. Fat people, idk why but they really are worse. Those pintos that honest to god look like they are going to do a horizontal wheelie are hilarious though.

Well I can tell you that in Houston- the left lane means NOTHING! I think its considered the self-absorbed a$$hole lane.

in my travels I've notice drivers suck in any large city. Its like they loose common sense n common courtesy soon as they hit major traffic.

Whenever I want to pass in my car and someone is cruising in the left lane, I will turn on my left blinker and get right on their ass. Normally gets the point across. If not, I pass them on the right, drive beside them for a second and make sure they see my flipping them off.

I would put my own state Maryland in the mix. We have a large immigrant population that does not know how to drive.

I've only been to probably 10 - 15 states but I would have to say without a doubt it would be drivers from South Carolina...or at least the ones that drive in the Charlotte, NC area.

I can see Florida making the list with all of the older retired people and Latinos that learned to drive elsewhere and try to apply it here...ok that came off racist.

I suppose Florida's pretty bad, but most fu#@*ups I see in traffic are due to all the morons on cell phones....especially in the mornings. They appear to be continuing the morning arguments with their spouses on the phone and driving is an afterthought!
