Clock in NYC shows cost of Iraq war...

A billboard in Times Sqaure counts the cost of the Iraq war starting at $134.5B and increases at a rate of $177M per day, $7.4M per hour and $122,820 per minute.

WTF Did I read that right? Why yes I did. See link here for whole story.

Americans voted Bush in to continue high costs of his no win war
Remember those costs donot include costs of tens of thousands of injured coming back, who Taxpayer will pay for the next 60 + years.

Don't be so sure. Everyone claims that this war is costing our country a fortune, but how do we know that things wouldn't be worse over here if we DIDN'T fight this war? Also, should we now just pull out and let the middle east fend for themselves after we tore their country up trying to get rid of Saddam and Bin Laden? Are you all saying that we should have just let Saddam stay in power, and also left Bin Laden alone? Just let everything go and there wouldn't be any more problems? I have a hard time believing that.

well there is a reason we DID choose push just because YOU dont SEE the reason dosent meen there isnt one so dont be all anti bush because that (in my mind) is going against america, the one great country that we live in. we are the mother of all of the other couintrys (the way i see it) we do try to keep peace and help out countrys and stuff i think bush has one hell of a stressful job and he dosent deserve people like you trashing on america because we are helping someone out that is in NEED of it i will be joining the navy as soon as i can get in (i am still in high school)

:nono: First of all, your brother may be in the Navy, but he is not a Navy Seal. Me being an Ex-Ranger.... Navy Seals came and got trained by US. They may do their seal training through the Navy, but Airborne, Air Assult, Mountain and Jungle training and SERE's is all done with us by Army instructors. How do I know this??? I trained them!! Need more proof...just ask!!
