Does your helmet match your bike?

just curious, my jackets and helmets match my bike. Does it matter to you if yours do or not?

Mine don't and never did. Especially because if I got new gear every time I got a new bike I'd be really poor by now. In the grand scheme of things I think it just matters that you have the gear.

That said, I've had many customers actually walk out to their bikes with a helmet to see if the paint matched perfectly, which, of course, it rarely does.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Wearing gear period is more important than it matching of course but yes mine pretty much does match. I bought this gear at the same time I bought the bikes so I figured...might as well...right ?

I tend to go through bikes rather regularly so no, my gear is more universal...

I personally think colour-matched bikes AND coats AND helmets, etc. are a little too matchy, but that's just me.

I like to have more neutral gear . . . both so that it matches with whatever I ride, but also so that the sweetness of the bike is the focal point, not me.

My helmet is (well, I just ordered it)

This is my coat

and obviously, my bike is the one in my signature.

youhavenoidea: I have never before seen a helmet I liked that wasn't a solid color, but THAT is absolutely beautiful!

I just buy silver and black stuff, goes with everything.

And really, no one makes gear in the same orange as my Ninja, and even if they did, not so sure I would want to wear it....

My jacket and helmet match, but not to the bike. It doesn't matter to me since they "coordinate" (wife approved) with any paint job, but I think it does look odd when someone has a multi colored jacket and helmet in colors totally different from their bike.

My leathers are gray, black & whit. They match any bike. I have several bikes, jackets & helmets. Some match while others don't.
