The murder conviction that sent a man to Death Row 20 years ago was vacated Thursday, with the Florida Supreme Court saying that evidence withheld by prosecutors might have been enough to change the verdict.
I can't remember where it was, but the same sort of deal happened last year. A guy was on death row for 20 something years, prior to DNA evidence. They found conclusive evidence that it was someone else and not him.
Well, he served 20 years for check fraud. I hope he learns his lesson and never writes a bad check or tries to pass a stolen check again. Although, something tells me that he'll be cashing a check from the state in the near future.
