Who is it all for?

With all the recent :nono: 's being handed out here, and with threads being locked left and right, I would like to pose a questions to the "elders" of this board and/or TWT mag. (it's now obvious to everyone that they are both personally and financially connected)

Who is TWT for? Who is TWF for? I ask this because, by the content shown in both the mag and this forum, it seems to cater to the "squid" lifestyle. I use the term squid for lack of a better one, and because I am sure that everyone here knows what I am talking about, not to flame. It seems to be a VERY young crowd here, with a few older types that like to have the kids around to look up to them. TWT is clearly written for the street racers and stunters that give riders like myself a bad name. There are the occasional "feel good" threads about telling people to start small, wear gear, play it safe on the street, but that all seems to be a front. Lets not kid our self here, TWT is TWF, and TWF is TWT. So how can a site that preaches the use of proper gear and rider training, support what amounts to the stunter version of Easy Rider, showing kids doing standups wearing nothing but a motocross helmet and a t-shirt and jeans, all while showcasing poorly customized sportbikes with half naked hookers draped over them? Be what you are guys, you want to appeal to that market, go ahead, nobody else has yet, at least not anybody that has any respect for the sport, and for good reason. Can anybody really take the garbage in TWT seriously? I can appreciate stunters and what they do, some of them have more bike control that I have seen on world class trials riders, but it needs to be done right. Same goes for show bikes, which is all that seems to be featured in there. So again I ask, who is TWT/TWF for? I know the answer, do you? Stand up and be what you are; kids, stunters, BS showbike builders, and squids, but don't you dare coin yourselves riders, thats what I am, and trust me kids, you're not like me, and I sure as hell am not like you. At least then you could sleep at night knowing you are true to yourselves.

Have fun closing this thread, banning me, slapping me with a no-no smilie, what ever will make you feel like you have your LITTLE world on lockdown.

Mike

Pig...your wrong.

Chev...your funny.

Desmo....You know as well as everyone else for the most part, that TWF is for everyone. The newbie, the person with a few years of riding, the expert, and all the way up to the expert stunter. TWF was made for eveyone in mind the is and has a joy, passion, and the willing ness to learn or just out right ride.

There are no special rules for who can join TWF or who can post. However, we do have rules for what you post and what type of content that is posted up on the forum. When everyone joins, you are directed to the TWF posting Rules and Regs for the better term. We have all seen it and it has been posted a few other times in threads when asked about it.

TWT....now along with a few others, they are supporting vendors on TWF. What TWT puts in there mag or on there website is up to TWT. The owners or creators of TWT. TWT does not run TWF, they are a supporting vendor. If TWT posts up on there website something you don't like or agree with, don't look at it or read it. If there are things in question on there website or mag, they do have contact info. Just a thought.

I am probably completely missing the boat on this, but if it is true that they took one of Twisty's posts and then published it. . well then, that's Busch League bullshyt, supporting vendor or not.

I've spent some money with SpeedWerks and will do so in the future. But if that's how TWT does things, they'll never get a dime from me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think a lot of others are curious too.

Go to any Barnes & Noble or big book store and they will have tons of bike mags.

What I can do is look into it and find out whats going on and what happened. Thats all. No promises or anything.

Nothnig will happen or be done about it. They wont drop 2 Wheel as a supporter regardless of what they did/ do. They can post or print whatever they want, yet on a forum our speech is censored to conform to whatever the "man" deems appropriate. This should all be dropped. Most people voiced their opinions, yet Todd or anyonew else is not allowing people to speak their minds and tell them how we really feel.

Ace...if you are referring to Todd the mod on here and think he is the same Todd from TWT...they are 2 different ppl.

We on here do not have a problem with everyone speaking there minds. what we do have a problem with is bashing. If you want to speak your mind in a calm and adult way, by all means, do it. We will not close or delete threads when it is done in an adult and mature way. When bashing comes in to play, then we do.

It has been posted way to many times about bashing and calling ppl out for what ever reason. And GSXRJack was right to a point, Shan and along with the rest of us mod's on here have been way to nice and letting to much by by just giving out warning.

As you can see...we are no longer giving out warning after warning after warning. If you have something to post, then post it. Thats why the forum is here. But remember that we still have guidelines and they must be kept and stayed in.

When did I ever say anything here about Todd the mod here and Todd from 2 Wheel Tuner being the same person? I have no clue what you are talking about. Care to direct me to where as I said something of the sort here?

BS....Todd locked my thread and it was clean and a good topic and when I aske dhim about it, he said that my opinion to his response didn't matter and if I said anymore, then I'd get a vacation too. Give me 2 minutes and I'll attach it to hear for you...check that, go to the post that was started by Becca about my thread being locked. Everything you need to know is in there and the thread in question (freedom of speech) is out there too. I'm sure your read them. Todd had no business keeping it locked and preventing me from replying and then threatening a vacation.
