NASCAR @ Infineon RAceway

im watching this! Not a NASCAR fan but a roadracing fan, should be good. It'll be sweet if they'd use the infield though.

What, besides bikes could they possibly use the inside track for? But hope it's fun, not really that big on NASCAR, well, except the crashes. That's all I'd watch for.

I think this one is most NASCAR fans' least favorite one though Not sure, MP would know, but I think most call the roadrace weekends boring.

I love nascar and love the roadcoarses...definitely 1 of my favorites. The thing with most nascar fans is they all grew up in the south and raced on the ovals and that's what they know and love and also understand...it's a "roots" kind of thing for them.

Mark Martin is the Shiznit. He rolls off third sunday and has great road course success. I hope he gets his win here but Gordon( ) is prety good also and he has the pole for sundays event.

Anyhow Go N0 6!!!!!!!!

I feel like I"m back in Georgia. That's all they talk about. I tried to mention MotoGP and they were like...WTF is that? Then when I told them, they were like, 'What moron would want to race a motorcycle at 180+mph on a track?"

dont remember just how wide Infeneon is, but NASCARS arent exactly small. Passing should be tight.

That's odd, I would've guessed that you would have liked NASCAR Twisty. Sorry not trying to stereotype you though. Just most people from that region like it.

I think those would be fun to watch. Don't they do that a lot in like Europe?

I'm not a NASCAR fan, in fact I had no idea NASCAR even had road course or circuit rack racing. I happened to catch some of it, and I think it's more exciting than 900 ovals, but that's just me.

What I also found out is that some team owners sit their normal oval driver for a circuit track specialist, like Ron Fellows. Seems like an unfair advantage to me. They only do this for one race.

Some teams have been doing this for years. It is funny though it has never paid off. The "specialists" dont win.
Heck, Mark Martin won W/Glenn 3 years in a row from the pole. and J. Gordon has won like seven straight at one time but yet never were considered specialists.
