Reckless they hit you hard with fine, plus two point ticket. 20 years ago paid $270 reckless fine for doing wheelie

Dude, 20years ago I was 5! That's about the age that I started likin' and wanting a bike.

Bull is 16? for real? I though he was older. Oh well. Sucks man, sorry. They are probably just trying to teach you a lesson so you don't do it again.

It's fairly easy, Bull. Ride smart and no fancy stuff for the next year or so. Take the time to learn how to ride correctly. When your 'probate' period is over, you ought to have enough skill and knowledge to a) have more control over the bike and b) have a better idea of where you can try stunts 'n stuff without getting in trouble. Life could be a whole lot worse....

Sounds like the system is trying to make an example out of you, and deter you from "dangerous behavior" at the same time.

BTW, if you think life sucks because of that.. I've got news for you. If that were my only in life I had to worry about I'd be happy.

I'm with Shan 100% on this one. If you're seriously stressed about this, just wait until you get into the real world.

Look at the bright side...

Sounds like you still have your license and your bike. SOOOOOOOOOOOO, just ride safe and careful for the time being (you should ALWAYS ride safe and careful, but you get my point). I know its hard to do. But If you dont think you can do that, dont ride for a while. If you're on the last strike, then take the courts advice they gave you and just be careful.

I'm not going to give you speech on how life sucks (this year in general sucks), but I will say try to look at it this way and take the good from the bad: you still have a license and your bike . If your in debt, get a job (if you dont have one already), pay it off . If that means "parking" the bike and saving up they money you would normally pay for insurance, then I would suggest you do that . Captiain Morgan had to SELL his bike and everything with it for his family(sorry capt. not trying to make you feel bad or nothing). You at least get to keep your bike and license. ITs a small sacrifice, but in the end it's all worth it. Im sure most of us here on the forum have had to sacrifice something to make ends meet. I hope you take this as some friendly advice rather than a lecture.

And I hope everything works out for you. Ride safe!!! try to avoid the wheelies!

The Ticket is $100.00,
Heck everything is at least $100.00 bucks.
Just pay the fine and if it hurts that bad it will keep your front end on the ground. But if you let your mom pay the fine you will be right back out on the road on one wheel because your pain never really sank in.
I donít know about where you live but if we loose our MC license our driving a car is out too. We donít loose just the lesser of the two privileges

Its the same here. If you get caught breaking the law with any motor vehicle (big truck, car, bike, bicycle, or lawn mower and even a horse on public roads) it goes against you license.
I know two guys that lost their license on DWI charges. One on a lawn mower and the other on a horse.

Are you serious???? Were they on a public road? I have never heard that before...although that really sucks for them, I have to say that is pretty darn funny!

I think the loose of his lisecense might be from his mom. But it might be, if he gets any other tickets, being that he is probably on a new drivers probation, he will loose it till he's 18. So it's one of those.

Being under 18 makes tickets a whole different ball game.

Bull I love your first post. It is exactly what every kid goes through at one time or another. We've all been there and that's why we (I know I was a huge voice) warned you against stuff like that.

Just keep your cool and play it easy... you'll be 18 and tearing it up in no time. I promise! And in the future listen to some of us. Many aren't that much older than you, so the game hasn't changed that much and we all remember hwo it was. You are very lucky to have what you have. I didn't get my first bike till I was 20.
