You get what you pay for in life
22K price little over stated for S. Base price under 18K. Unlike BMW cars, BMW Motorcycles dealers do deal well under MSRP, even for new S model in Bay Area.
Test drove K1200S few weeks ago BMW San Francisco Could have walked out with fully optioned S with bags, plus Ca sales tax 19.5K out the door.

02 BMW K1200RS Staintune many mods. Totaled by 16 year old girl
02 BMW F650GS Staintune many mods.

I think it's great!! Personally, I'm very bored with the same ol' same ol' from Japan.

Of course, at 22k, I'd be looking at an MV Agusta.

I think that bike is slick...however people are telling me to start out with something smaller....grrrr...I tried to ride my friends Suzuki last weekend and almost dropped the bike. He says something about having to lower the bike so I can reach the ground. *slams head on desk*
