ALMOST got a ticket tonight

Damn, I got lucky tonight. Got pulled over for 75 in a 55 and he let me off with a warning. Not sure exactly what I did to keep from getting the ticket, but maybe it had something to do with pulling over as soon as I saw him pull a U-turn in the median. At any rate, he was apparently in a good mood and he just told me to slow down and that he was giving me a break. Also said that 99% of the time a person gets pulled over for 20 more than the limit while running a radar detector, they get a ticket. Sure glad I was in that 1% tonight.

Yes Captain, I'm glad to hear that you got outa the ticket. I did the same thing when I went flying down the off-ramp of the interstate at 80mph (recommended at 40). I pulled over before the cop pulled out of the median or turned on his lights. I saw him just start the car, it was an Impala so you saw the side markers come on. So I pulled over, got everything, stopped the car, flashers and all. He was like, "Ok, slow down, I'm gonna give you a warning."

Oh really? He is...Hmmm, guess I gotta put like a TWF sticker on my bike so when I ride it to Florida to visit mom, he pulls me over and maybe will have some kindness towards me?

I still say FastTagz. I've also seen this like "spray in a can" it supposidly works cause it's illegal in California and other states.

LOL Funny 3BoyzNaBike! Also great quote from EuroTrip in your siggy.

Capt, I am guessing he let you go because you pulled over immediately. I think the cops are always expecting a bike to flee. When I got pulled over for the 131mph he was pretty easy on me after he realized I had a clear record and thank'd me for not running. I mean you run and get caught your screwed. By pulling over immediately I saw chances are good the cop will appreciate not dealing with the chase and give you a break (long as your cool to him and not a complete arragant a-hole).

Love that movie, it's hysterical and Michelle Trachtenberg is really cute so that's just an added bonus.

Ace . However I did just that, I got clocked doing 94 in a 55, and the cop had his lights on before I even got to him. So I figured I had better stop, that and the fact that I live in a small ass town where everybody recognizes your bike he would of found me eventually. So I complied, and I didn't try to come up with some half ass excuse that he wasn't going to believe anyways. and he still wrote me, granted he did knock 10mph off the ticket, but so much for my clean driving record.
