He will easily get that. Especially if it is in the middle of an area planned for high rises etc. Just for hte land someone will give him a couple million so they can continue building. Hell then he can go a few miles away and build a huge house for pennies. I have a freind who is looking at moving to Vegas. Some areas can buy/ build huge houses for a fraction what you can around here (Michigan). Its amazing the growth Vegas is going through.

Nothing is cheap here in Vegas! It's hard to find a decent place in a decent neighborhood for under 250K. My buddy is an agent. If you want to hook him up, I can give you his number. Just PM me or something.

I read the article. It sounds like he's asking more than the market will bear. His house has been listed for years...

That is funny! I'd give him $20 for the property. Figuring I'll have to tear down the shack!

You know what though...one point two mil. may seem like alot for that, and it is but...,he sells thet house and where's he gonna go and get much more than what he's got there? I mean ,I know he's set...but then again,I live in a row home, small front yard, driveway in the back w/ a garage underneath, nice but nothin substantial, and it appraised for almost a quarter mil. alone. take that one point two and try and come up with a good way to spend/invest it?like I said, it is a good chunk o' change, but when you REALLY think how you'd invest or spend it,(so you won't be livin in a cardboard box in five years),you'll see even a million dollars ain't that much these days. It's not like you'd be sittin on the beach sippin coladas from now till who knows when...

wonder if they have odds on what day he will sell and for how much - I'd take some of that action. what's the point spread, +/-, over/under, etc.

No... they won't offer him that... they'll just wait for him to kick off and then they'll offer $500,000 to his next of kin...

Must be some extreme sentimental value.
