Hey TWF members,
Some of you may have noticed I haven't been on TWF
ing lately. There is a few reasons, one I haven't had a stable internet connection in four or five days. Second as most of you regulars know I will be buying a R1 soon. I went up north to go look at the bike this past Sunday when I got a very upsetting phone call.
One of my best friends at my age of 24 was killed in a car accident sunday morning at 5:20 am. He was out for a halloween party, in which he only had two beers that night and he wasn't drunk. He is always out partying having a good time, but this one night he didn't drink hardly at all. Approximatly at 5:20 am on a back road he fell asleep, crossed the center lane and smashed into a tree.
I am taking PTO time off work tomorrow afternoon and heading back to KY for the visitation services wednesday and the funeral service on friday. Then I will be staying until sunday afternoon. I am trying to deal with this tragity the best I can just by remembering all the good times we had.
It may be a little bit longer until I am back full swing here on TWF...just letting everyone know whats up. I just uploaded 10 pics of the R1...so when ever those are approved I will get a thread started for those.
I leave you with the online news from my friends accident.
