If a tire model is 185/45R20 what exactly does that mean? can you get the diameter and depth from that? Could someone explain to me what all the different numbers/letters mean.
185 times .45 =83.5 or about 3.25 inches for the sidewall. So from the bottom of the thread to the rim is 3.25 plus 20 for the rim and another 3.25 to the top of the tire is 26.5 inches. But that's without any weight on the tire.
