I think a forum like that would increase the number of group buys on TWF. Just my

That's a great idea but much like many other forums we have Supporting Vendors. Therefor, we can't have people doing "official" group buys for other non-SV sites.

Ya know what I mean?

But wouldn't we need to regulate where the group buys come from?

Make it a moderated forum.. vette the group buys through a Mod. Then you know it's either an SV or something an SV wouldn't sell. Any group buys posted else where Delete.

It would make it easier to shop, and See what buys were open.

Well, we can't "make" a vendor get involved. They participate to the extent they want to. There's no quicker way to dissuade a vendor or potential vendor than to put participation requirements on our advertising.

We do have vendors, currently, that offer standing discounts and we do have some current deals going in the for sale section.

Many get caught in that rut and that's where any GBs should be posted by SV's or other wise.

I didn't even know there were group buys on here and luckily came across the pitbull stands in the for sale section, it was a little buried tho. I would have hated to miss that one.

It's cuz the mods have to approve them and then it gets lost.

I think if we did this... all the threads should be approved by us so that it doesn't get out of control.

I guess a perfect example would be Dlit's bike stands GB.
