Golden Promo Opportunity?

I received the message below from Connie at Hallett today. I was just reading it and thinking to myself what a fantastic deal it would be to have a 20 year ad for a mere $400. Especially if you wanted to advertise a motorcycle related business, considering that the whole place is littered with sportbikes on a minimum of 30 track or race days per year, not counting all of the auto racing going on. Pretty sure that works out to pennies per event from the ol' marketing budget. I mean, I'm sure no one here would be interested in such a golden opportunity, but I thought I'd post it up here anyway because you never know...

Oh, did I mention that your ad would be on a new permanent air fence so everyone will know how much you care about sport riders, their safety, and supporting their hobby?

For a one-time fee of $400 (our cost) we can advertise your business on a 40 x 80Ē barrier for twenty years. If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact us immediately. We would like to have the air fence in place by mid-March if at all possible. Please call Scott at 918-583-1134 or email [email protected] for more details.

Hope you are all staying warm these days.

PS Thanks to all of you for making Hallett safer by having already purchased your barrier.

Be sure you don't mention my selfish motivation that I race there and would like an air fence in place for the next time "The Weedeater" decides to take a soil sample.

It looks like an industrial version of an inflatable raft you would use in the pool, but works like an air bag to keep you from heavily impacting the hard fence behind it. Check out this site.

I have seen those before on t.v. I just didn't observe it at the time. That is great technology much better than haybails especially for tracks that use part of an oval or flatrack racing....
