yea it seems lately that i've been avoiding certain threads because they've been hi-jacked and its all of a sudden a completely different thread. i dont mind it being sidetracked for a little bit (im guilty myself), but a lot of times it would be dragged on on on for 2 or 3 or more pages. Then i don't even bother to look in the thread b/c i know it's not what it was started out to be. i dont know what the policy is, but a lot of good informative or interesting threads have been turned to nothing more than small chit chat that has nothing to do w/ the thread at all. and like i said, it drags on.
It happens, but feel free to bring any thread back on topic by driving the big ol' TWF bus back into the lane it was originally intended to be. Someone will follow.
LOL, just kidding. Thread jacking is a pretty common occurrence and not really against the rules unless it is the blatant post whoring/thread jacking variety as stated in the post whore rule. Just listen to pickle and bring the thread back on course.
Dam! I bet that was good! They have a BK over here, but they never have any of the veggies for the burgers when im at that base and are usualy also out of fries and onion rings!!:cursin:
when a thread dies it is hijacked. sort of like a water buffallo dying, first the lions get it. then the hyenas, then the vultures, then the bugs. its a slow, nasty progression of decay. it will never stop, its like the circle of life.
"but dad don't we eat the antelopes?"---
"simba, when we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelopes eat the grass. and therefore we're all connected in the great circle of life."
I actually enjoy looking at threads that originally weren't interesting to me once they have over 70 or 80 posts. There is some crazy chit going on by then normally.
So I played darts tonight per my standard wednesday ritual. I had a couple little streaks going, and hit some key bullseyes. All in all, it was a good night.
lol...:bslap: :bslap: :bslap: :bslap: :bslap: :bslap: :bslap: :bslap: :bslap: all you get back on track yo...we were talking bout lion king...
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
