04 rc 51 vs. 03 tl 1000r

Hey folks!
Well I finaly have a question to post.Which bike will fit a guy my size(6 foot 2 in.+)more comfortably,a tl 1000r or a rc 51? A friend whose a little taller than me said he liked the ergos of a rc 51 as it fit like his vfr 800. That didn't seem right but I couldn't argue as I've never been on one. any other comparisons or differences between the two will be greatly appreciated

Rip on!

I love both bikes, the RC51's seat is not fun for long rides based on my limited seat time on an RC51

man.

But what you are asking is like asking us to tell you what size jeans for you to wear.

Just hit up the dealer and sit on a few!

i rode a friends for around 30 mins, i can say it would be a long a$$ ride if you were stuck onit for a lenth of time, the TL feels like a gixxer sorta, about the same, 51 is way more track orientated
