failed cbt :((

i have been waiting for so long to take my cbt and get my bike out, my bikes a aprilia mx 125 its basicly new my dad left me it he only did 100 miles on it before he got ill and could no longer ride it, so i was doing realy well in the parking lot and i found it very easy.
so he let me go out on the road, there was 3 others but 1 guy wanted to go back because he got scared when he got out on the road, so the other guy was leading and i have never been on the road before so i was mainly copying him, but then it got to my turn to lead, i was doing alright untill it came to the round abouts where i realy started to mess up, for some reason i wasnt listening to the instructor, i was just ignoring him and doing my own thing, then after that it just kept getting worse i keep constantly screwing up, so he ended up taking me back and failing me, no one i know has ever failed a cbt, so now i have very little confidence of ever passing and feel i have just wasted my money on buying a jacket, gloves, helmet and my boots going to take it again when the snow clears up here though anyone got any advice for me?

Saddle back up and do it again!! Who cares what anyone else does/says/thinks...it matters what YOU do on the bike, no one is riding it for you.

^ what he said. Just get some more practice and confidence and you'll do fine. Don't psych yourself out by getting negative on yourself. If it's a goal you want to achieve (which it sounds like you do) then don't let anybody stop you.
