what to buy? 2004 Rsv1000 Factory vs 2006-2008 ZX6R

Ok so I have been riding for a little more than a year on a cbr125 and i feel like im ready to move on. Now i am only 19 but consider myself level headed and don't have anything to prove to anyone. That being said I don't feel like the cbr suits my riding needs as i like to get out and cruise on the highway more so than city riding, i love this through downtown and chugging along with traffic but on the highway its a bit disappointing. although the bikes im listing arent exactly made for what i do, i intend to stick with sport bikes and have narrowed it down to those 2. .I have ridden my friends zx6r on a 4 hour mini road trip and it was great no aches or pains and the bike is smooth (too me atleast). but i love the look, sound and exclusivity of the aprilia and feel like i would appreciate and cherish it more compared to the zx. I was reading a few reviews and the power difference is not too big its more so in the weight but i admit im a newbie and feel like some mature minds could shed some light on this.

My main questions are for those that have rode either or both how do they compare, pros and cons, etc.

Ps. im getting a great deals on either and have found the insurance on both to be manageable. any and all help is greatly appreciated! and please no remarks like im a statistic or a wannabe who wants a big bike for the hell of it, for those who know me im far from that and this bike i buy i intend to have for a while.
