StreetFighter 7R

I came across these pics a while ago on another forum. I was/am considering this for my 7R since I am rebuilding her. I've contacted the owner of this ride for more info on parts, ram air issues, etc. What do you guys think?

Also, for those that have ridden a naked bike, how is it in terms of effect on the body (ie. wind)?

I sure would like to see a better pic of the front.
You will notice a bit more wind with a smaller front fairing. Allot more wind with no fairing.

Those were the only three in the thread. If he answers my pm, I'll see if he has more pics.

Thats a pretty nice 7R.

As far as the wind, there is a huge difference. Once you get to about 75 mph, you feel like it wants to throw you off. But I really dig the look of a streetfighter. Thats why I am building one too.

After using ask.com, I found two more pics as well as a list of the parts he used. They are bigger and more close-up.

I do like the front. Is it hand made or something you can order?

I don't mind the wind on my naked. However, it's my first bike, so I don't know any better.

I like the SF 7R.... For those ram airs... those are the stock tubes going thru the frame with some custom green ram air covers on it...

I like it!

I am still looking at the cost to go streetfighter vs. stock. I got the front end stipped down and found that the headlamp assembly has two broken tabs, as well as a bent bracket for the cluster. If I replace those parts my tally comes to approx. 1600.

As far as the ram air, I saw in the pics that those were just covers. I am more concerned with performance issues. It is my understanding that the chambers that attached to the tubes actaully aided in pressurizing the system. I have read that there were minor to no issues with the low end on other Kawi's with ram air without the chambers but found nothing on high end effects.

Not sure I like the nose cone so low. I would rather it be pulled up and back and maybe a round lamp. But other than that it looks cool.

I dig it from the pictures you've provided though.
