ZZR600 / ZX6R-J opinions?

Anyone own a -06-07 ZZR600? Basically a rebadged 98-02 ZX6R (J) kawasaki bills as a "sport Tourer". I am thinking about getting one for my daily commute and sport touring, maybe the odd track day.

What kinda tips and tricks do you know? Flushmount signals, aftermarket exhaust? Suspension advice, any wierd maintenance quirks?

The ZZR is by far one of the best buys currently on the market. It is an extremely capable motorcycle for normal people. Unless your last name is Mladin, you probably don't need anything better for the track and yet is still comfortable and capable as a daily rider. Considering what the latest/greatest 600's are going for, you can't beat the price either. Yamaha has a similar bike in the YZF600R (and even the R6S) but I think the Kawasaki is a better all-around bike.

Rarely is the question stupid, but sometimes the answer is you need to run everything you read online through your own personal BS meter to determine if it makes sense to you.

The ZZR600 is by far a better bike than the YZF600R from a performance standpoint. The Yamaha may be a little more comfortable with a more relaxed seating position. That's not to say the ZZR is uncomfortable.
