attack kawasaki racebikes for sale

now that the seasons over attack is selling all thier bikes. i was thinking about picking up one of the zx10's after too much traffic nonsense i think it would be safer if i saved all my riding for the closed corse, every day we ride could be our last. anyways just wondering what ya guys think about them, any ideas how much hp that 10 is putting down??
heres a link to the specs.

That's not a completely bad price for all the race setup being done. The Ohlins suspension alone is probably worth $5,000

Are the forks revalved with Ohlins stuff? They don't look like traditional Ohlins. And only 500 bucks diufference for the 10R? I'd buy it and sell it for more.

im assuming so, says they have between 1 and 3 hundred kilometers on them. and the forks are revalved with ohlins internals with a ohlins rear shock.

Note: superbike engines are tuned to last a few events. the tolerances are set to maximum specs (looseness). expect to re-blueprint the engine or contiue with routine tear-downs if you keep it for the track. It would be a shame to convert it for street duty.

does it say what the compression is?

Yea I wouldn't expect that bike to last more then a few track days. They rev waay higher then stock and they have a ton more hp, So combine that with the non existant break in and there goes your motor. I don't know if i could spend 12 grand on something that would blow up in a few rides...

You can always rebuild the engines, and have a killer chassis to work with.. two cents.

i know, but it sounds like a good time, its not going to be in the near future, i am a proud owner of a 600cc class bike, and that aint gonna change, but god does a 1000cc bike look good i had a good time trying to follow ing jeeps shadow when i went with him, this just adds to my post in the break-in thread, its so easy to get over your head on the street, nothing but good old common sense to hold you back and keep you from being a smear, which i know enough from racing dirt that too much of a good thing is bad!!! ( a 420cc two stroke quad in crosscountry70-90hp is nuts but god was it a blast to race)

The '07 6R is suppose to be pretty strong. It will be a 599 too.

It's geting trumped by the 599 though. more power. Maybe a lil less low end, but that's why you keep the RPM's high.

That's what excites me. Before you know it, the GP bikes will be 600's. Because the 800's technology will be so high and too powerful.
