official zx636 thread...

i've noticed an abundance of members with zx636s around here lately, so i figured i'd create a thread specifically for this bike. post up some pics (even if you already have in other places), share the mods you've made and those you plan to in the future. these bikes rock! i'll get it rollin'...

my 2004 zx636...

mods: muzzy slip-on, lowering links, chrome frame sliders, chrome flush mount LED turn signals, euro lights, fender eliminator, pro-grips, luimoto custom seats, custom heel guards, sportech flame series chrome windscreen

future plans: pilot powers this spring!

fender eliminator... needless to say, its low on the list... but high mount would look tits, but i think its going to be a custom shorty that gracies the side of this zixxer

drewpy...i like your turn signals. i wanna get some like that instead of the polished LED ones i have. i'd also like to chrome my rims with a translucent blue chrome used only on the spokes, but now we're really dreaming. and i am still jonesin' that micron blue fade pipe.

i like the euro flushmounts, but i'd rather have them on there from stock. i wouldn't trust myself (or anyone i know) to cut the fairing. but they look real nice.

Flush mount signals, and fender eliminator both from competition werkes. Rear seat cowl, removed rear pegs.

I want a Puig Red Windscreen and Red cabon fiber mirrors from OPP Racing. And a new Muzzy exhaust

It took me about 2 hours start to finish. It was the first time I pulled any of the body panels off. The rear signals are the easiest. The front ones took most of the time to do. The instructions that came with the signals were easy to understand. Just some basic hand tools and a little patience is all that is needed.
