Zzr 250

Going to be trying to get one of these bikes from the dealer here or from one in Calgary. The MSRP is 6200.00 and I want to try and get this one in Calgary for $5000.
Because this is 5k, I'll probably have to take out a loan from either my mom or the bank.
I want this motorcycle and I'm getting tired of looking for one only to find out shipping is too much to get it here..
I'll save money on shipping just nationwide. In canada it'd be around 400-600$, from the states I'm looking at around 1200 to get one here. :/

$6k for a 250?? Is a canadian dollar really only worth half a US dollar?

Google says:

6 000 Canadian dollars = 5 748.228 U.S. dollars

i cant imagine shipping a used 250 from the US would cost more than half of that, total...

Anything over $3000 for a 250 is ridiculous really. Most used ones can be had for under $2000.

I just noticed you're talking about a ZZR, not EX 250. two significantly different bikes, which would explain the pricing difference other than just currency exchange rates between US/canada.

Good thought, but I don't know if a fairing and a little tuning would be worth $3k. Unless there are other differences?

*Just looked at Kawi Canada- the site says $8,699 for the Ninja650R. Kawi US says $6299.

Just need to replace them with signals off a 650R. But where are the rear signals? in the pod with the taillight? If so, that's pretty hot.

the front of the ZZR 250 really reminds me of a newer katana. ugh. I like the ninja 250 better.
