typically, I'm very supportive of bikes, but this is just too ugly. the motor is too small for that thing IMO, it should have a V twin, like a TL1000 motor, or an RC51 powerplant in it, not some little 250 motor.

i agree it does look too small for it, ive been seing a lot of play choppers with 200 and 250 engines in them lately. mostly home brewed or cheap replicas. man if i had the welding equipment and a garage. i probably would've done that to my 250

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Oh, you're serious? The 250 engine doesn't make any power until 6K, and you want to give that engine in an ill-handling chopper to a newbie? Don't do it, unless you really hate your brother.

If you want to get him a 250, the June, 2007 issue of Motorcyclist has a nice article about 250's including the Ninja, Honda VTR250, Kawasaki 250 Eliminator, and Yamaha SRX250.

no no no no no lol i typed in 250cc got a bunch of ninjas and then that thing popped up. just thought it was an interesting thing. Hadnt really seen anyone chop up a ninja to turn it into a chopper before.

My brother's more of the cruiser type. Im trying to convince him into getting a GZ250. Thats what i learned on and they're über-comfortable.

I read an little blurb in one of my bike magazines or something about a guy who was making choppers with 1k Gixxer motors in them... Makes perfect sense... The chopper guys are always dickin' off with their engines and squeezing every last ounce of performance out of them... why not just start with a real high performance motor to begin with...

I'm sure the bike runs like a champ in the straights, probably can't take a turn worth a crap.
