Exhaust ????

Hey guys (and girls), I have an 07 ZX10. I plan on installing a slip on Ti-Force exhaust. Now I have a PCIII and I heard that there is no need to install a PC if the exhaust is not a full system. My question is should I install the PC or not?

You dont NEED to, but The PCIII does help with performance alot more than the slip on will. If you get a PCIII, make sure you set aside $300 to get a custom map done in order to use the full potential of the PCIII. BTW if you decide to buy a PCIII one of the supporting vendors sells then for $255 shipped. Nobody else has them cheaper.

Don't waste your money on a PCIII, you will see little to no gains without a Dyno Tune.

This thread should be closed.

He already has the PcIII. It is worth it to spend $50 on a Dyno Run and get that chit dialed in perfect with your PC. The master has spoken, now you can close this

If you have it spend the $50 to tune it, it'll have you running right! If you dont save the money, you dont NEED one for a slip on!

Will cost over $50 to dyno tune it top perfection, but you will see a lot better power delivery with it tuned in right. With the exhaust, and the dyno tuned PCIII you will get least 5-6 HP id tend to think, spend another 50$ before u put it on dyno though and get a BMC filter in it first. You should see well over 160RWHP with the filter, pipe and pcIII all tuned in.

Every dyno is different, ive heard ppl say they got 163stock out of bikes but i think typical youll see at a low elevation is bout 155-158, so 163 RHWP would bwe a very noticable gain on a already lightening fast motor.

What year is the 10R, the 08 may get ya 165+

that is false. A Power commander adds HP in much a different way than the exhaust. to put it simply... a new exhaust will get more juice because you are squeezing a bigger lemon. a PC will get you more juice because you are squeezing it more efficiently.
