Project Bike ( I need help! )

So I have this '98 ZX9 and it needs some work. It runs strong, but it has no fairings (and thus no ram air) and I want to try to convert it to inverted forks (is this possible?). Also looking for parts, so if anyone has any, I'd love to know about it.

Cue Backstory:
Bought the bike from father in law for $800. put fog lights, oil, and new tires. Ran like a champ. Switched fog light style, now I have some pretty hard hesitation above 65mph indicated. Blown forkseals are apparent, and I hit the top of the fork can on the bottom triple tree over hard bumps. (I'm 6'2" at 310lbs.)
Current Modifications:
+4 rear sprocket; upgraded chain; jet kit (Stage ?) K&N filter; rear wave rotor; agressive camshaft (unkown lift or duration); supposedly oversized valves.

I just need some ideas and input on what I can do to make this bike what I want it to be. I've had this bike for the last two years, and I really don't want to be rid of it.
Can anyone help?

1st thing I would recommend is to get an upper fairing and ram air back on the bike. Its designed for it so I would think you would always have at least minor issues.

eBay or aftermarket companies such as Lockhart Phillips probably have fairings at a reasonable price.

If you really want inverted forks, I would look at buying the whole package with brakes, wheel, axle, triple tree's etc. You should be able to find bearings to make the other tree fit your bike if the stems are different. again, eBay is your friend.
