Kawasaki’s Ninja 500R is an exciting motorcycle for riders looking for a full size, affordably priced sport bike. With 60 horsepower on call, the Ninja 500R is an excellent handling motorcycle with a Kawasaki performance soul.

The Ninja 500R is loaded with high-end features like a free revving, liquid cooled, 8-valve engine mated to a slick shifting, six-speed transmission with a positive neutral finder. Fun, sporty handling is guaranteed with EX500’s box-section steel, perimeter frame, wide 17 inch rims & tires, Uni-trak rear suspension, stiff 37mm fork, and drilled disc brakes front & rear.

The high quality features of the EX500 continue with a comprehensive analog display dash, frame mounted half fairing, standard centre stand, retracting bungie hooks, adjustable brake & clutch levers, passenger grab handle, and bright dual exhaust.

Now the question is.. how to convert from Ps and Newton's to Horsepower & Torque.... let me find some conversion sites...

OK... this whole Ps thing is pretty stupid... it appears to be nearly 1:1 while this low in the power spectrum:

60ps = 59.17919806892853 HP
46.1 N-m = 34.00161378592112 lb/ft

Its weird that they didn't put that in the American website.... I mean, did they think that publishing the bike with 60HP was too low? I mean, I thought that was pretty standard as far as those bikes go?? Weird... and apparently they don't sell the 500 in Japan, or Europe....... Interesante
