God doesn't like Louisiana for some reason. I can see why with Ray Nagin and the Chocolate City, but not everyone is like that.

Only tourist traffic.... Not residents. They said typically they won't evacuate residents unless it's a Cat 3 or greater.

Oh. Did anyone catch that article in Popular Science about what they are doing to stop TS's, hurricanes and all that? it was interesting. they had a cargo plane loaded with these water absorbing materials and to test it out, they dropped it over a thunder storm and it rapidly died down, because all the moisture was removed. So it worked on that, but scientists are still skeptical about it working on a hurricane or something. Interesting though.

Ya know... One would think that with all the hurricanes in the past few years that Florida realestate would be much cheaper by now... I guess I will just have to keep waiting...

I wish!! My real estate taxes doubled this year...they claim the assessed value of my house doubled...so they doubled my taxes...Might have to sell it to see if it is true...

Someone said, "god hates Lousiana." No, god HATES Cuba... Every tropical storm/hurricane hits Cuba first... I mean EVERY ONE OF THEM...
