Only once a month though? In Vegas, it's every Wednesday. The last one of the season is next week.

We have a good relationship with many manufacturers and vendors in the motorcycle industry and are fortunate to have their support and sponsorship.

We could do it weekly but then it wouldn't be an "event" and just another local bike night. This way, it gives people something to look forward to and something that they can plan to attend.

Also, while our sponsors are very generous with their contributions, I doubt that they'll be willing to give us as much to support a weekly raffle give-away.

Are there going to be more this year? This is the first time I heard of it but I also live in the desert so i'm isolated. I want to go but don't know if anyone else from up here wants to go, and I have reserves this weekend at China Lake and I'm usually up there on Friday night.

Second Friday of every month...rain or shine, hot or cold.

We have motorcyclists who come from as far as Santa Maria, Idywild, Lake Arrowhead and Apple Valley so some people do ride quite a distance to attend. I hope to see you at one of our events.

If you're ever in Old Town on the second Friday of every month, you'll see heaps of bikes parked in front of Hooters:

Some bikes:

Motorcyclist magazine's chief editor Brian Catterson and Motorcyclist & Sport Rider magazine's web-mistress Angie Loy, who are regulars at our bike night:
