ToyRide.Org's 7th Annual ToyRide for Kids
When: Sun Dec 2nd 2007 (Rain or Shine)
Begin: Angel Stadium (57 fwy and Katella in Anaheim, Ca)
End: Angel Stadium
Benefit: Foster Children of Los Angeles County
Registration starts at Edison International Field at 9:00 am and ends promptly at 10:00 am. Group photos for the ride will begin at 10:15 am. Ride lineup will begin at 10:30 and the ride will pull out of Angel Stadium at 10:45. The registration fee is $10.00 per person and a new unwrapped toy valued at $10.00 or more. Passengers are required to register separately. Your registration fee includes a drawing ticket and lunch. Each toy donation worth $10.00 or more will receive a drawing ticket. Tickets are based in $10 increments. If the gift is $20 the rider will receive 2 tickets, $30 will receive 3 and so on. Multiple increments of $10 donations will receive multiple tickets. Cash donations and gift cards are greatly appreciated and accepted in Lieu of toys. Please come gassed up and ready to go. The ride will end back at Angels Stadium with lunch, contests and drawing prizes. Remember, Pre- Register and get an extra ticket. All types of bikes welcome!!!
Gift donations of new unwrapped toys will be collected at Angel Stadium beginning at registration. The average age of the children is 6-11. Please see wishlist for gift suggestions. Gifts may also be purchased on www.amazon.com

. All cash donations will receive drawing tickets. Tax ID Information is available prior to event by request. Acknowledgment letter of participation will be with each registration packet during registration.
Pre-Registration is open Please arrive prior to 8:30 if you plan to register at the event. Cut off for pre-registration is Sunday November 26th 2007.
Pre-registration is open until November 26, 2007. Each person who pre-registers will receive a bonus ticket for our drawing. PayPal is required to pre-register. Although pre-registration is recommended, you are not required to pre-register to attend the December 2nd event. If you are not pre-registering leave extra time to wait in a registration line. Registration and check in opens at 9am.
We are pleased to announce through the generosity of past participants we will be having our 7th Annual ToyRide on Sunday December 2nd 2007 at Angels Stadium in Anaheim Ca.
We are planning an amazing event to benefit the foster children of Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services offices (DCFS).
ToyRide has taken on Los Angeles County DCFS. This year ToyRide is working with multiple DCFS district offices within Los Angeles County to provide Christmas presents for the foster children. As in years past ToyRide has made sure that each child assigned to ToyRide by the Los Angeles DCFS office received the gift they asked for. This year we have stepped it up and ToyRide will be providing each child with two items off their wish list. This is a daunting task for our team to make sure that each child gets exactly what they are asking for.
This year ToyRide has teamed up with Target, Wal-Mart and Toys R Us to help us reach our goal. We receive discounts at each of these stores to help us provide for more children. Cash donations and gift cards are accepted in Lieu of a toy. These donations will be used by the ToyRide staff to purchase toys specific to each foster child’s request. If you are short on time, worried about carrying a toy on your bike or not sure what to get, cash or a gift card to one of these three locations would be greatly appreciated and quite helpful in allowing us to reach our goal of giving two requested gifts to each child. You may also go online to our wish list and choose an item from the list.
