does this two-piece make me look fat?

Sorry folks. No pics here. I do have a question though. Like everyone else, it's tax return time and I'll finally have enough to buy some real gear. I ride with a light duty mesh body armor jacket and blue jeans now. I know, tisk tisk. Anway, I'm lookin for leather, seperate pants and jacket (that zip together), and I'm lookin in the 3 to 5 hundred range. I know this question's been asked a hundred times before, but what do yall recommend?

Thanks in advance yall!

AGV has nice 2pc leather suits in that range, we have a few TWF members that have them...hopefully they will chime in on this thread.

I race the AGVSport one piece, but have the AGV pants that zip up to my non-AGV jacket. GET IT NOWWWW!!! Those pants are a little too big for me but once you get it the right size, like I did with the one piece itll fit you fine, great gear, awesome price, and they will protect you in the biggest of spills. BTW I use the pants even though they are a little bit too long, the boots keep em in place so no biggie.

Excelent! Thanks for the recommendations folks! I'll find a local shop here in town that sells AGV's gear so I can try it on, then I'll buy online.

Thanks again, guys!

Will do! Thanks again guys! Going there right now...

EDIT: Mkay. I'm stupid. What's their website? I googled "cyclemart" and came up with a lot of websites that don't look like the right one.

Nah, the adds rotate. It may not have been up earlier. I knew from previous posts by them that they were supporting vendors and looked 'em up under the member list.

I've got a Joe Rocket 2 PC GPX type R in silver and black I am looking to sell.
It is basically brand new, I wore it one weekend down at deals gap. It is a size 44 and absolutely nothing wrong with it. I am asking 325 plus 10 bucks to help cover shipping. If you are interested hit me up.

How do you measure sizes on those things? Is the 44 a waist size?

Well I wear a 44 long in a suit jacket and it fits me well, not too snug or to loose. I wear a 36 waist in most brands of jeans and they fit comfortably, they can be sinched up to fit a smaller waist. I'm 6'1" 200 lbs and the joe rocket webiste says the size if for 145-160lb riders. So it can fit a wide range... I have plenty of pictures of it to verify it's condition...

I see. I think that suit might fit a little loose on me though. I am about 5'10" and have around a 33" waist. I'm a shrimpy little guy.

I appreciate the heads up though!

U might wanna check it out 'cause I'm 5'7" and I wear an AGV 1 piece suit size 42. Size might change due to a diffrent brand but I dont think itll be enough to constitute a big enough diffrence.
