i was thinking more along the lines of a second lid

One good thing about the Chinese imported helmets (commie Chinese and Taiwanese), they're cheap and they meet DOT and sometimes Snell too. When you're on a budget, a pretty helmet with fancy liner is out of the question. But a cheap one that meet minimum safety standards sure beat a rock in the head.

if you want a $60 helmet, just go to walmart and pick up a bell helmet.

Try looking at helmetshop.com. (in Daytona Beach). Sometimes they have some very good deals, especially during Bike Week (March 5th - 10th). Good luck!

2005 GIXXER 1K and 2008 ZX 10R.

Ok dillema... keep this thread on topic, or diverge with a question on whether or not that statement applies to women also.
