question for shoei owners...

do you use the breath guard that comes with the helmet? i wear glasses and i find that it is too close to my nose, it interferes with my glasses. so i don't use it. i think the chinbar on the shoei must be closer to my face than on my HJC or something, i never had issues with the breath guard on the HJC. i also don't know if i like the leather (or whatever) material it is made out of. just wondering what the rest of you do...

I dont have a breath guard on my Shoei. Yes the Shoei helmets are closer to your mouth than other helmets.

alrighty then, i guess you don't use it then. i find it more annoying than helpful, so you aren't missing anything.

I use that and the chin thingy in the cold temps. Works OK. But you pay 450 bucks for a helmet, you'd think it'd come with an anti-fog screen.

And the breathe guard works OK. If it's real cold, forget it.
