NO you may not chose a different one. I have made up my mind for a relatively inexpensive (under 3 bills) mesh jacket , matching, for the wifey and I. She is already getting a power trip vintage and I have my good dainese.

thanks to all who do not

Well being bias by working for AGV Sport doesnt help the situation (we have some really nice ones for men and women BTW) but if I had to pick one I would recommend Joe Rocket. Not really paying out the ass for anything too expensive espeically in their textile line. Alpine star is a little more pricey, but you get what you pay for. Good luck!

I like A* AGV isn't one i've had any experience with... but I've never heard anything bad about them

Joerocket I've heard either their AWSOME or ****. never heard anything in between.... but I've heard there was a bad counterfit ring that was using their tag on some really ****ty stuff... but I think that was busted... so that may be why it was such a black or white review

Power Trip... I know nothing about... don't know anyone who has any of their product

My wife has a complete leather jacket and chaps from Power Trip. Power Trip is basically Joe Rocket's cruiser line.

I have a PT jacket I got last year, meshy, its awesome and works great. I have JR leathers and feel the fit could be improved for the womens line but i love it nonetheless! I got to check out the new ICON gear this weekend and was really impressed as well. You can get some nice Mesh or Textile jackets for under $200 and they are good quality, you can def see the improvement protection wise!! I have also found FieldSheer to be pretty decent and they have some new ladies gear as well that is def feminine!

at the time I was buying gear I found jr to be about 20 to 30 percent cheaper. I like how my stuff fits too and I feel confident in its ability to protect me.

I looked around and compared price, fit, protection, and looks. And being married w/ 3 kids didn't help the price area. So I bought Joe Rocket everything. All I need now is a new helmet.

Peep the scorpion line of helmets. Everybody seems to like them for small change $$
