Got a new jacket

so I went into the local leather store and looked at some new jackets... I've had my mind set on the Alpinestars Stunt 2 jacket




but damn that orange was hideous! until I saw it in real life! here's my pic of what I picked up

HUGE dif in that jacket from the pics, it looks much better in yours. Hows it feel?

what kind of jacket did you have before and how does the sizing/fit compare?

good... a little stiff but that's to be expected from the cold and it being new.... but I got it for 325 with the optional slide in back protector included!

I ordered a bunch of other goodies...
A* Black label cargo pants...
A* Reflex knee guards
Joe Rocket Super Street Boots
Puig smoke Double bubble screen
Dyno Jet kit
Muzzy Full system exhaust
K&N filter
520 conversion kit (renthal sprockets -1front +2rear, D.I.D. ERV3 chain)
Galfer SS brakelines and HH pads

I had a BIG off name textile... it was too large... but it worked to allow me to add layers under... but it seriously was about 3-4 sizes to big.

isnt your bike Fuel injected? arent jet kits like the equivilant to a PC for carbs? can somebody help me out?

no it's carbed... and yeah jet kits are the PC for carbed bikes

The Gov't must be paying you too much. Nice pick ups man. Thats alot of stuff. Whens the rest of it coming in?

ehh a couple weeks... but we have a motorcycle show next weekend so things will be hectic that week for them... but it's no hurry... I think I'll be getting the paint job done before I do any of this... I think I may try to have him paint the can the same as my bike

yeah that's what I was really worried about... was being seen... I can't see myself when I ride... but honestly... I really dig the jacket

Nice man. Whats the pipe look like? Carbon, Stainless??? I'd leave it as is myself.

You could always leave it and see what it looks like after the bike is painted...then paint the can afterwards if you want.

Nice list. I just got the Puig DB. Looks tough on my bike. I'm sure you have heard allthe warnings about the DB. But just a reminder. Cover your gauges with a rag or something if you leave it parked in the sun for long.

The DB acts like a magnifying glass when left in the sun. People have actually left their bikes in the sun and come back to find the instruments melted. Easy fix, just throw a rag over the instrument cluster while your away from the bike. There was warning sheet inside the package that I bought, but some people might ignore it. Better safe than sorry.
