Icon Timax pants ?

not sure if these are new or old.
they're not listed on Icon's site.

what do you guys think of these?

Icon Timax Pants
Timax pants have water-resistant nylon shell
Titanium thread reinforcement in lower leg means years of use
Removable CE-approved knee and shin armor gives you racing-type protection on the street
Zippered intake vents make sure you don't overheat
Integrated soft armor protection and abrasion-resistant side panels add extra protection

They don't look too bad; along the lines of my MotoGP Alpine pants.

A girlfriend of mine has them (even though they're men's pants) and loves em (she has them, and the matching jacket). She says they're quite comfy for all day riding, but don't breathe particularly well.

I used to have the matching jacket. I didn't care much for it. The armor was non-removable and seemed a bit on the flimsy side. But the overall quality was pretty good.

They would be a step up from plain old jeans I guess.

they look nice but what kind of material and yeah a matching jacket would be cool
