Boots & pants came in....

well my Sliders jeans came in......
i must say i'm very impressed with the jeans. they feel very
comfortable, the reinforcement areas feel very substancial
and they look like plain old jeans.

the Kevlar reinforcements for my but and hips....

the reinforcements for the knees.....

and the boots......
fitment is good, not overly stiff to the point where i couldn't
walk around in them so far. no more Timbs.
will post an update after i go riding this weekend.

Those jeans look good! I wasn't impressed with the Icons I saw last weekend, as there wasn't much protection that I could see. But those look like they have as much coverage as Draggins.

ok, ok, ok already.

**** UPDATE*******

here's the review.
went for a short ride Sun.

the Sliders jeans are very comfortable. feel like regular jeans other than
i can tell that on very hot days they're not gonna breath like regular jeans
due to the heavier weight denim and kevlared areas. no big deal tho.

the SetUp Visions are great! very comfortable, easy to find the gear lever,
and not a prob. walking around in.
toe box, heel cup, shin plate and ankle protection feel substantial.
my only gripe is, i wish the calf area was able to be adjusted tighter to my calves. that's only cause of my skinny legs tho .

i would def. recommend this gear.
all in all, i feel a lot safer on the bike.

my next gear purchases will be A*s compression shorts and knee/shin gaurds.

would it be worthwhile to wear knee guards under those jeans? then take them off and put em in your back pack (or messenger bag, w/e you rock)
