visor position...

when riding do you prefer your visor completely closed or do you leave it open a click or so? i've found that more often than not i'll leave it open a click. mainly due to fogging reasons when i first began riding. now i guess it just turned into a habit. i have been closing it completely from time to time, just to see what it's like. it's amazing how much quieter it is, but then i can't smell the wildflowers as much when i ride the country. i like being able to do that.

so what's your preference?

when you turn your bike on, does it return the favor?

open a bit at all times pretty much. sometimes i ride with it halfway open, like if i'm riding with someone else and need to hear them.

but even with it open just a crack, somehow a bee managed to crawl in there when I wasnt looking...

Bikeless for the moment.

On the highway, totally closed
At lights, usually open.
In town, either open or at least cracked open.

That's witht my old HJC, visor fogs really easy.
We shall see how I ride when i get my new Shoei!!

In the mornings when I find I the most problems with fogging I leave it open a crack and when I'm at red lights I usually lift it, but other than that all the way closed.

my old HJC was what started this habit for me. the shoei does better for me as far as fogging goes, but some habits are just hard to break.

Always closed...even at redlights unless I'm talking to someone. I only crack it open on the hottest days. But when it's that hot out I dont usually ride anyway.

I keep it closed for two reasons...it's a mirrored shield and I dont want anyone to see me. And the reflection off the top triple clamp sucks in the sunlight.

On the road, closed.

In town, open with my sunglasses on. (It's already hot as the second level of hell here. Usually reaches the fifth level by August)

In town at night, open one notch (gives airflow without bugs in the eyes)

Always closed unless its cold out and then I crack it open at a red light to prevent fogging.

Ok flower girl.....open when stopped but closed when riding. In Georgia, it's against the law to ride with your visor open unless you wear glasses.

On the track, down and locked. On the street, down all the way or open all the way. It's usually open because I'm not going that fast and I have sunglasses on the prevent sh*t from getting in my eye. But usually above 40-50 it'll be down. I never open it just a click. the wind seems to be directed right into my eyeballs if I do.
